Meet the Woman Behind the Words

Welcome to my world. Here, you'll discover the real me – a 41-year-old mother, EMT, and a woman navigating a life full of unique experiences. Dive into my story and understand what drives "Life of a Woman in her 40's."

My journey: a mosaic of life

I'm a 41-year-old mother of two – a 19-year-old son, who also walks the demanding path of an EMT, and a vibrant 6-year-old daughter. My marital history is a story in itself: three times married, each chapter bringing its own lessons and growth. From an 18-year-old bride to a widow and now a divorcee, these experiences have shaped me profoundly.

Beyond the expected: Emt, Mother, and Old Lady

My life isn't just about personal relationships; it's a dynamic blend of roles. As an EMT, I witness the fragility and resilience of life daily. I'm also an "old lady" to an MC biker, a unique lifestyle with its own set of rules and expectations that often intertwines with my other responsibilities. And when I'm not on duty or riding, I'm immersed in crafting, creating custom items from cups to patches.

From childhood to balancing it all

My stories also delve into my childhood, a very different era with distinct experiences that shaped the woman I am today. The life of an EMT, a mother, an Old Lady, and a crafter is a delicate balance. Sometimes these roles align beautifully; other times, it's a complex puzzle requiring a strong support system. This blog is where I share how I make it all work, celebrating the good and navigating the challenging.
